This past Wednesday I encountered a case that relates to what's being discussed, but it's more about character than honesty.
I was riding my mobility scooter from my home in Hadley to the new Colony Health Center to pickup my application booklet for joining. On my way back and just after reaching the sidewalk at the Odell gate, I heard a woman yell to me that I dropped something. I didn't see the woman nor did I even know where the voice came from, but I called out my thank you and after I carefully backed up I found my container of pain medication lying on the sidewalk.
Now, she could have just ignored the the incident, but because she didn't and had the concern and character to yell out to me what happened, I won't need to go without the pain medication until I'm setup and have my first appointment with my new Doctor at the center this coming Thursday.
It's doubtful the woman will read this post, but if she did I would again say to her... Thank you!
