As stated many times previously, this is a complex topic. I certainly don't claim to understand it all. But I seriously doubt that its outcome will ruin life in TV regardless of what that outcome might be.
And some seem to be so opposed to the developers simply because they have made money...yes...become rich...because of TV. If they didn't, TV wouldn't exist. I hope they make a lot more. Life is not a zero-sum game.
