THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS IF YOU ARE A LOW HANDICAP GOLFER YOU WOULDN'T LIKE IT HERE, THESE PEOPLE IN CHATHAM ARE LOUSY GOLFERS. ;D

This is really really an old thread..........but we agree with above poster.
That entire area of Chatham, including Calumet Grove and others is one of the nicest quadrants of The Villages..........I think my husband heard the train once at a distance. It was not annoying or anything like that. It did not take very long, by automobile, to get to Lake Sumter Landing or any other place in The Villages..........plus was close to the polo grounds and other things........
