We're just glad that the Confederation Bridge now links New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island..........although a small ferry from N.B. to Charlottetown, P.E.I. was always very very nice on calm seas.
A very modern ferry............

Not so our trip to North Haven Island Maine.

If any "villagers" want a unique summer vacation.......plan on seeing Prince Edward Island Canada, home of "Anne of Green Gables" fame.
For those who still like to cycle, the rolling hills are not only scenic but popular with bikers. Beautiful pristine empty beaches.........gorgeous.

We've returned many many times and love the folks on P.E.I. as well as Cape Breton, New Brunswick, etc. Down to earth and wholesome.
Everyone up in the Canadian Martimes was very very friendly and kindly.

Halifax, Nova Scotia has a Titanic memorial..........

Anyway, two leisurely weeks by car is how we do the Canadian Maritimes.
Very relaxing...........

We love Maine and are vacationing there for two weeks this summer.
Can't wait.

Just wanted to add this link for the tourism package.
Worth sending for.

We love the seacoast of any state, but particularly Maine and Canada. Great way to escape the Florida summer heat.

We skip the Maine turnpike and take the slow journey via all the coastal roads.....slower but prettier. Don't need to cruise to see Maine and venture "off the beaten path"......ditto for the Canadian Maritimes.
