Was wondering if this has happened to any of you. We bought our lot last summer with the specific intention of stretching the garage 2 feet and the Lani 4 feet. Supposedly it was checked and double checked with whoever does that sort of thing (CAD?) and we received a plot map showing the house sitting on the lot with the stretches drawn in. We arrived down here couple of days ago for our design meeting which is tomorrow and were told there was a mistake made and the scale that was used was incorrect! It was run by CAD again and we are now told that there are no stretches allowed on the garage at all and the most they will give us on the Lani is 1 foot 8 inches! It would be putting it mildly to say we are just a bit upset! We have had this lot for 8 months and have really been looking for years before that.
How can they do this at the last minute?
