This is the part of the story that does not make sense to me. If I am waiting on every tee, I cannot imagine an ambassador asking me to pick up my pace.

I would have to ask him/her for an explanation, what am I supposed to do? .

In addition, I likely would have a few messages of my own that he/she could deliver with a smile to the group behind me
