thank you gmcneill! a photographer friend of mine goes to the beach and writes msgs in the sand for folks and takes a picture of the msg so the requestor can have the photo to send to someone. and she makes some of her photos avail without copyright - that was one of them. I took it and reduced it to avatar size - she and I are both clever!
