Well friends and neighbors...A-4, Jimbo, Mike & myself got together this morning at 9:08 for our first round of golf as Gilly neighbors.
I won't make too many comments other than I now officially suck at two sports, golf & pickleball!!!
I did manage to make a par on one of the par 3's and I believe that everyone else also made at least one par. One warning...A-4's a ringer in the driving area and Mike plays a good short game getting on the greens.
Oh yea! Forgot to mention that Jimbo did manage to get a birdie on one of the holes with a water hazard. Now for you animal lovers out there don't fret. The Florida Fish & Wildlife officer who was called to the scene said that the duck that Jimbo conked in the head will make a full recovery...
After the traumatic events of the morning...the 4some retired to Evans Prairie CC for some much needed liquid refreshment and victuals! I think that a good time was had by all...except for maybe the duck!
