I'm not complaining about this as this is the way life works. But I really hate to see anything less than a full band playing live music in the squares. We often drive by and if I don't see a drum set, we usually keep driving.

The DJs and "band in a box" entertainers are there simply to save money. You can pay one person a lot less than five.

How about getting the entertainment division back from a private party and into the hands of the residents?
First I must say that the entertainment at the squares is not as important to some as it is to others.

And Dr. Boogie, please don't wish for the entertainment division to be governed by the residents. We all have extremely different views on EVERYTHING. I can't imagine what it would like when the Country Western advocates would take on the Bach Beethoven bunch and the hue and the cry in the background from the gospel music lovers and the jazz aficiandos and a few who would want Gregorian Chant...... It would be a huge hairy mess and I would NEVER get to hear the Beach Boys stuff again.

I still say we have it good here. Really good here. Thirty year olds want to move here. Thirty year olds are moving here.
