(Anyone not in TV probably will keep their LSV because they don't have anywhere to drive a regular cart) The population of Florida is over 19 million. So our law makers are wasteing time on legislation that will only effect a couple hundred people out of 19 million and they wonder why citizens are disillusioned wiith government.
I think this will have more of an impact in the future -- more and more towns are considering allowing golf carts on their streets. As gas prices continue to rise, towns increase in size, downtown parking becomes more and more of an issue, I wouldn't be surprised to see even more towns and possibly even small cities begin to allow golf carts and then this law will have a much larger impact. (How's that for a nice, long run-on sentence?)
