Riding a bicycle on a road is a state law not a Villages rule. How would one ride to a destination, say Ocala, if there is no bike path to get there. The law does state you must use a bike lane when available. The only designatied bike lane in The Villages is Morse Blvd. North of 466, although a bicycle is allowed on the multi modal trails, they are not required to use them.
