I eat a diet largely based on science and it's not uncommon for me to get ridiculed because of it, even though I enjoy it. But perhaps the ridiculing says more about the person doing the ridiculing than it says about me. I think it says that they are trying to defend some things about their diet that they know are wrong. (Not talking about you, just talking about people in general.)
What has changed for the better is science. People believe in science when it comes to getting bypass operations and such but they don't believe in science when it comes to diet. When it comes to diet, they cling to anecdotes exclusively. They cherry pick anecdotes to prove their point.

It might help others to "get" what you are preaching about.
Just list the food items you enjoy at breakfast time, lunchtime and suppertime.......and any in between meal snacks.....or evening snacks such as fruit, nuts, etc.
Thanks........and by the way, you have to realize that most people who respond to you ARE interested but also are coming from their own reality and their own general life experience. Not everyone seeks , or even thinks about, surviving to age 100. We all have to go from something. Death is not to be feared as it's just a new beginning.
Also, modern day elders cannot , in any way, shape or form, be compared to the prehistoric elders (who died in their 20's and 30's).
Enjoy today as none of us know if we will have a tomorrow.
Don't nitpick the small things but enjoy all the blessings you do have.
That's my motto.
Also, being patient with others who have different ideas and opinions is a plus in my book. Don't dwell on what everyone else is doing..........just go about your own life quietly and if people say, "WOW, is he or she (we still don't know which you are) a nice individual; a kind individual......that just about says it all." Not, "Oh, how skinny they are; they must eat seeds and nuts and never partake of a whopper".
