This may not seem as exciting as many of the above earlier posts, but I was pleased to meet and speak with the daughter of the original Maria Von Trapp (Sound of Music fame). She was in her Austrian costume and looked exactly like her mother, as one would see her in the old photos after they fled Europe and had resettled in the Green Mountains of Vermont, which reminded them of their beloved Austria. She looked like her mom did at an older age........not as portrayed by Julie Andrews.

Very nice lady to converse with at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont.
