One more thing. Even though you maynotbe paying for golf, it is an important item for you to consider. If the golf is not self supporting and that becomes more an issue as the community ages in place, the golf could become a liability and have to be sold off to outsiders who may want to develop it for something other than golf. This has happened more times than you would think. On Hilton Head Island, a golf mecca, one of the courses in Port Royal Plantation has recently been sold to the Town. Perhaps some of the people withgolfcourse views could be looking at a parking lot.
