Each will say their own. The homes in Sumter are the newest.
Bond free counties?
Sections northeast of 441/27
We do not want to live near schools,
Schools are near The Village of Belvedere on 466.
so what are the non family friendly areas?
EVERYWHERE. There are a couple of areas near the schools for families.
We visited The Villages while on our vacation to Fl this past January. But we were only there for the day, not enough time. We don't want to live right on top of another house,
I doubt if you will get your wish on that one.
we like the idea of private backyards,
You can pick a golf course view, a street view, or water view...all with a bigger price tag.
so what areas should we looking for to buy? Thanks!

You need to come and stay awhile and study maps and and study this forum. Do your due diligence. Remember new homes cannot be purchased with VA or FHA. The separate price for a bond on a typical new Designer home is about 23K and for a Premier it is aboug 50K. If you build and make changes after you commit there is a fee of $250 to change anything including the closing date. The developer accepts NO contingincies on contracts for new homes.
AND last but not least...You will find a lot of oldish people here. But you get younger all the time. ..and while on that subject...we aren't the world capital for STD's. But we aren't dead yet either.
There is a lot of golf and pickleball and bragging about grandchildren. Mine are the best.
Welcome.
