i'd suggest that you go to the youtube website and search for 'the villages florida' videos to see if you can find any with pix of the neighborhoods here. one person's concept of space might be different than yours.

the historic neighborhoods have the largest lots and mature landscaping and no bond costs, but your post sounds like you would be seeking new construction. however, you might like the neighborhoods around la zamora, la reynalda, mira mesa, del mar, or any along morse blvd south of rt 466; villages of santiago and alhambra off of el camino blvd are nice, too. villages maps can be reached using the link on this page in the upper left corner.
