I have been told who not to go to but hard to find who to go to. Just left my regular doctor in another Fl. county and in search of primary care here so getting a referral won't be that easy. Guess I'll just keep plodding along finding doctors around here. Sure not easy. Thanks again.
While I'm not an MD, I know a bit about vertigo. My wife suffered with severe vertigo for over two years before it was finally cured. (She had bilateral superior canal dehiscence)

If the "rolling the rocks around" physical therapy doesn't work, you have a number of choices. First is to go to a neurologist for a workup. If it isn't loose rocks, it could be one of several other causes.

Douglas Green at Jacksonville Inner Ear & Balance Institute was recommended by my wife's doctor (see next choice). We haven't met him, but Dr Tucci doesn't recommend people lightly.

Finally, *the best* place for vertigo is at Duke. Dr Debara Tucci is the leading person in the US (and thus, the world) for diagnosing and treating balance disorders. She has an entire staff who work on balance disorders and skull base issues. She is absolutely, positively, without a doubt, the best.

Duke may be a ways away, but it is the best place for this.

PM me if you have more questions.
