BTW when we look at the Butterscotch sample in the store I thought it was waaaay too light for my taste but it turned out to be the perfect color once we got it to our house (the way the guy at the store said it would be!! I guess it's because the store has flourescent lights...)
Just my two-cents worth!

I have a sample of the Butterscotch at home now. It is a nice medium color. I'm having trouble as I want a brown tone - not red - and not too dark. This seems to be a good one, but wondering if it has too much black? I was told that is the way Hickory is. What do you think? Are the black tones heavy or subtle? It is so hard to picture an entire floor with just a small sample.
