It took us 2 years of researching and we knew that we wanted in the lady lake section of the villages because we knew that we needed a mortgage and couldn't afford that and a bond. We were lucky that when we put our house up for sale we sold in 4 months not for when we wanted but close enough since the market took a nose dive. We like this section for the mature trees and lots of open fields around us not just a golf course view. We arrived in the villages on a Thursday found a house on Friday and bought it. You will have no trouble finding a place. After our research we knew what model of house, price we wanted to pay and the area we wanted to live in so that made it a lot easier.
