I saw "42", the movie that covers the period of 1945 to 1947 of Jackie Robinson's baseball career and his start with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Whether or not you are a baseball fan, this is an excellent movie. Parts of it will probably make you angry; parts of it will make you want to cheer. Excellent performances all around by the actors.

I will recommend this movie to my father who has been a Cubs fan since he was a child, and at almost age 83, he remembers well when Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in major league baseball.
