We're currently on Tricare Prime. Now that Prime is going away, we decided to move our routine care to the VA Clinic in TV until Tricare for Life kicks in. We signed up last week and have our first appointments in June. We've heard good things about this clinic except that it takes awhile to get appointments. But then it also take a long time to get referrals from our Prime providers. If we need to get seen sooner, we always have Tricare Standard as a backup.
Not sure what we'll do for emergency care... I guess we would have to pay the Standard deductible and copays.
