SunKool is the company; are they reputable? The owners closed 6 years ago, and the unit instal date is 9/06, so the install is less than 7 years.
Any advice?

Parts on the new units being installed now are warranted for 10 years but you should be able to check with the warranty department on your address to find out for sure on your AC system. Be sure to find out if the problem is due the copper line leaking if it is buried in the ground.
If it is a leak in the line it is now covered for 10 years. There are specific guidelines to follow to be reimbursed if it is a copper line failure.

AC UNDERGOUND REFRIGERANT LINE SERVICE WARRANTY EXTENDED
The POA would like to thank the Developer, along with the air conditioning subcontractors who were involved, for taking financial responsibility for the repair and replacement of HVAC copper refrigerant lines, together with the cost of the repair and/or replacement of other air conditioner components whose failure is reasonably related to the failure or leaking of such HVAC lines due to corrosion.
