I had more than two dozen knockouts around my garden up North and they were decimated by this disease, even with 2/3 cutting back in dormancy.
At first I thought it to be unstable hybridizing, then saw this article yesterday.
I wrestled so much with them up North, that I chose not to include them here when we re-did the landscaping.
Sad... and it is spreading to all rose varieties.
