First, let me say that my wife is as beautiful to me now as she was when we first met 42 years ago. She has not had any cosmetic surgery nor have I.
If she came to me and said she would like to have botox to get rid of some lines or cosmetic surgery to get rid of "turkey neck" (she does not have one!), I would be totally supportive.
The only thing I would not agree to is the huge fat lips that some women get. I was watching Celebrity Apprentice last night and Lisa Something has the fattest, ugliest lips you can imagine. Joan Rivers was also on the show as an advisor and her facial plastic surgery is hideous.
Cosmetic surgery to remove age lines, flappy arms, turkey neck and such things are not vanity. It is a personal choice. Be supportive of your mate.
Do not degrade your wife by ever pointing out signs of aging on her. Mine is the best thing that ever happened to me and I am grateful to have her everyday.
