When you look at a Vermont Life magazine or a Vermont Life calendar you realize it is a “Different World”..........
and that is why so many people moved up here when there were still “more cows than people”.
They wanted a simple life in which to be creative....whether as a craftsman, an artist, a writer, etc........................
or just to raise their children in a safe environment..........as it is a rural state, but beloved by tourists from all over.

Thank you for the link. Vermont is indeed breathtakingly beautiful, a "different world"! I have visited it and thoroughly enjoyed its picturesque scenery.
Now Santa Fe calls itself the "City Different" and is also a retreat for people from urban life. It also has a few excellent plastic surgeons.
