We have friends who did the Hawaii round trip out of Los Angeles in October 2012. They said the days at sea were no problem as has been said lots to do (or not). They were surprised that it was as cool as it was at sea.
They very much enjoyed all the stops in Hawaii. They did not like the fact it was one day each stop....not enough time.
They said they would do it again but earlier in the year for better at sea weather.
For the Tahiti leg....my guess.....evenmore days at sea and too few days at ports.
We will be doing one or both in the coming year....for me it is all about going places that exclude the human herding experience called flying!!!!

do you think "human herding" isn't ALL those people on a cruise ship??? I can't even find a seat near a pool they are taken all the time??
