TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY FOR MEN COMMERCIALS ON EVENING NEWS SHOWS.........we both heard it again last evening:
“Low T” commercials have disclaimers at the end that taking these pharmaceuticals can cause prostate cancer.
Hypogonadism, Male Medication | Drugs.com
There is a little “video” that scrolls down listing all the things to watch out for.....
What if a single unsuspecting woman dated a guy who was on this drug????
Not to mention other pharmaceuticals.........that make everything seem great........
However, at the end admit that some might have “suicidal tendencies” when taking the drug.**
**Last night on CBS evening news there was a segment on the increase of suicide in our country......
We both looked at each other and knew what we hear every evening in the commercials on the same show.......
Many of the drugs advertised........sounding so hunky dory.......have disclaimers that they might cause “suicidal tendencies” or “cancer”.....
”May cause lymphoma, lung cancer, etc., etc., etc.” Now “prostate cancer” by taking the male hormone replacement drug.......
There was a surge in female cancers after taking the birth control pills and HRT (female hormone replacement drugs)........so many women went off of them.
There was a surge in upper thigh bone breaks and jaw disintegration after taking the bone building drugs such as Boniva and others......
Those drugs were initially for people with bone cancer ....
The literature and research is out there.........the books on BIG PHARMA have been published for years............
They are out to “market” and “sell” and “make a profit”............
Originally miracle drugs like penicillian were life savers.........now there is a pill for everything.......and not always good for you.
A few years back, our pet peeve was the obviously senior citizen women depicted with long stringy ,down to their shoulders, grey/silver hair skipping along with their golf clubs.
I forget what drug they were supposedly taking..............it’s an insult to our intelligence...........not to mention the elderly gent on his “scooter” with his helmet on.......
(the kind of one leg scooter that our grandson might have used when he was about 8 years old or younger)...
They made it seem as though if you took their drugs, you would regain your youthful vigor.........that’s if you didn’t have a side effect of some worse terminal disease.......
I just read a book “Syndrome X” on my Kindle..........and that author divulged quite a bit on the side effects of commonly prescribed pharmaceuticals...........plus how many doctors are trained in medical school in such a way as to prescribe these drugs.......
Any alternative practitioners out there? Or those who agree that the Big Pharma ads have become totally "nuts" if one truly listens to them???
