You are right, the material I found was soft and not in strips. I couldn't find anything like what you have described. Sounds even more interesting. I've been in the Harley store, alas, Imcan't remember the flooring...
Guess I'm going to visit the Harley store and the tile store this weekend.
There's a lot to be said for flooring with some "give"....easier on the joints, that's for sure. Good luck wiith, and enjoy your search!
