natural sweeteners
Just found LoHan a natural sweetener in Chinese cooking. It's from a fruit. I got it from Vitacost. Doesn't take much to add sweetness and can be used in baking and cooking and drinks. Comes in a powdered form. We are using it instead of stevia as the inulin in the stevia can be challenging according to some research I did on types of stevia and trying to avoid maltodextrin. The goal is to reeducate the "sweet tooth" so that less sweetness is wanted. I'm not into sweet as much as DH so it's easier for me. But he hasn't made any comments about the taste when I use the Lo Han.
