I wonder why your first visit was $400 and mine over $500. Maybe I got two more minutes than you?
Unfortunately, I can't use the new health care center....they don't take Aetna. I am actually in the process of making reservations to fly to New York to see an endocrinologist because I am so disappointed in finding a doctor here.
I am in agreement that it is all about getting you back in for the next appointment. It appears she is competent..to some degree..but she really doesn't take the time necessary to actually be a doctor. She tests and writes for blood work, and books another appointment. As I was paying to leave, and only then privy to actually seeing the blood results, I saw something I wanted to ask her about. The nurse went to ask the question and came back and said, it's fine. Which wasn't an answer to my question.
I am not old enough for medicare...that's the good news!...but her every 6-8 week visits are costing too much. And I don't really feel she gives a darn whether she figures out the right treatment..because that would mean no more bi monthly visits. Kind of a lousy feeling to have about your doctor.
