Big Pharma has lobbied to make it almost impossible for many herbal and homeopathic companies to run double blind studies due to costs and many other hoops. I feel it is a shame to deprive people of remedies for many chronic diseases which are cheaper and often much more effective with less side effects if any.

I'm not totally against the concept of earthing, just skeptical that the mats will work as expected. If the mats have not been approved by the FDA, it means that the seller can't make any claims for curing any disease. And, to confuse things further, there may be a placebo effect, whereby 40 to 50% of people may feel some initial relief.
But just to show you i'm keeping an open mind, I have a book on order titled "Earthing Book" by Steve Sinatra.
