Maybe so, but when you are a young mom dealing with this day to day it probably isn't even a blip on your radar screen.

Reminds me of my daughter's First Communion when the whole family when out to lunch at a very nice restaurant. My 1 year old son was just recovering from a serious bout with some not so nice intestinal issues and unfortunately let loose in his chair in the restaurant. My mother (God bless her) was probably around 65 when this happened and casually asked the waiter for more napkins and cleaned up the mess. To this day I hold dear to my heart how she showed me how not to be embarrassed by life's happenings and to move on.

As they say "s_ _ t" happens and you deal with it and move on. Give her a break she may have been devastated or she may have just been a jerk. Consider she is "young and dumb" and forgive her if she upset your apple cart.
