Default American Cancer Society Looking for Participants in Study

The American Cancer Society is looking for Central Florida residents to participate in the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). This is a national study which seeks to help improve understanding of factors which cause or prevent cancer such as genetics, environment, or lifestyle. We are looking for participants who match the following criteria: men and women between the ages of 30 and 65, who have never been previously diagnosed with any form of cancer, and are willing to make a long term commitment to the study. Appointments for enrollment in the study can be made before July 1st at http://www.seeuthere.com/cps3enroll/orlfl

Participants who enroll in the study will be asked to provide a waist measurement, give a small blood sample, and complete a comprehensive survey either online or at the enrollment site. After this initial session and survey, participants will be asked to fill out follow-up surveys every few years over the course of the study.
