The screen is on the outside and we got the heavier sun shade screen which really cuts the heat on our west-facing lanai. The work was done by Custom Windows and Enclosures of Leesburg. They don't remove your current screening until they arrive with the material to do your job. They enclosed our lanai in 5 hours.
