Default Gail P. , tenants, the U of MN, and the Villages.

When we lived in Palm Harbor next door we had a house that was rented by a Criminal Defense lawyer who seemed to put his clients in as tenants. Some of these people and families were OK; some not so much. Think it depends on the circumstances of where you lived before moving to the Villages.

Others places we have lived seemed safe but I had a stalker while working at the U of MN Law Library who followed my girlfriend home when I was away for Christmas break. The stalker Gail P. was a women with serious mental problems who fixated on various employees of the University of Minnesota and had previous to me gravitated towards a professor and then chained herself to his desk like he was a tree that needed to be saved.

The U of MN could not do much of anything with this stalker but it certainly gave my then girlfriend quite a lot to worry about. The stalker later followed me home and I guess the University did something as she stop appearing at the library soon after that.

She would sit and stare at me for a number of hours while I worked at the Reference desk.

I also lived in Reno. Nevada for a long time and quite a lot happened during that period of my life.

Comparable to Reno, NV, Palm Harbor and some people at the U of Minnesota Law School and Library; the Villages has been very peaceful and safe.
