Well, if this is developed into 100% residential, tee times will indeed suffer - particularly during the peak months. The number of houses that have been added to the plan over the past few years with no additional exec golf courses added to the plan has been alarming. This would just further erode the "golf free for the rest of your life" promise.
That being said, if it is the property on the south side of 466A, it probably abuts the Sumter County landfill that is there. On the Sumter County side of this landfill they have wisely planned exec golf courses, knowing that it might be hard to sell houses with a view of a landfill. If the same logic holds for the other side of the landfill (the Lake County side), it too may be reserved for golf course(s). One can only hope.
