I think that SuperFresh filed Chapter 11. When we were in Baltimore they closed a whole bunch of stores in and around the city. They are still in operation, but I believe that they have pulled back a great deal. If you're thinking of the Giant stores in Maryland..I hope that they NEVER come this way. Awful high priced stores, and their parent company was rated one of the very worst grocery store chains in the USA by Forbes. Acme's parent Penn-Traffic is also not in any financial condition to majorly expand.

Regarding Sweetbay. I very much like their stores but shop at their store in Belleview. It's much quieter..and...like everything else, the prices are lower once you leave the TV bubble.
