Hi Barefoot,
I'm glad to have made your day and someday soon we are going to make a dog's day. I know you are also an animal lover. I have seen your posts on TOTV frequently and I enjoy your knowledge. Carl & I have a determining factor persuing a new pet. She, the new dog must get along with our cat, Tac. In the year of 2012 Carl & I lost our black Lab, Midnight and our German Shepherd, Samantha. We were devistated. Midnight's passing came as a shock the day after New Year's 2012 and we had to send Samantha to Heaven on October 29, 2012. We had only been in The Villages about a month. So Tac rules our house. I introduced him to our neighbor's dog and things went well. Time has passed and even though the hurt will never go away, we feel the time is right to rescue another dog. We are checking into invisible fences before we even rescue a new dog. I will inform everyone when we receive our new family member. Thanks for your concern.
