I feel your pain. We live in Silver Lake and when people ask which Village we live in, as soon as they hear "historic side" they either wrinkle their noses, walk away or say something smart ass like "Oh, the old side!"

I must say that if that was someones feelings, then they wouldn't have driven all the way over. I have lived here 13 years. i also have to say that I have never heard anyone say anything about people who live on the other side. I think most of us are grown up enough that we know everyone spends their money different.
