Not one of the above airlines flies out of Albany New York, unfortunately.
Also, I have never ever heard of any of them.........

Finally, we've enjoyed a direct flight out of Albany International Airport.
It's three hours to Orlando's airport via Southwest Airlines........non stop.
All the other major airlines stop either in Atlanta or Washington, D.C., etc

Southwest even lets you choose the Senior pass which gets you first in line for everything.........and we actually were the first to choose our own seats up front with plenty of leg room..........returning home, we sat with a nice lady from "The Plantation" south of The Villages........returning to the Albany, N.Y. area........

Even though Southwest was efficient and three hours was pretty quick...
it would be certainly nice to be able to fly into a smaller airport.
Orlando is way too big and even though our rental car was pre arranged, they still couldn't find the reservation (newbies), plus the terminal is HUGE. Returning the rental car is yet another hassle........at the airport.

Years ago when we'd fly the kids to Disney World each year, Orlando Airport didn't seem as LARGE..........I should check out Tampa; I recall that being a very nice airport.........probably not much longer of a ride to TV.

On the other side of the state....... a nice "small" airport is the one located in West Palm Beach.........just the right size.....like our Albany, N.Y. airport. Fort Myers also has a nice small airport if going to the Gulf Coast.

We just found Orlando Airport totally exhausting........too big.
We solved that problem by returning early to the airport and overnighting at their big hotel on the premises............very nice. This way we returned the car without a big hassle or having to catch our flight.....and just had a relaxing dinner and were right there the morning of our flight home..........and let the valet lug our suitcases to where the plane boarded.
