As an add on...........

We have a patio villa and the lanai area is only about 10 x 9. We want to put in some flooring, but the pavers would be too bulky.
For those with patio villas and have put in flooring, which type is best?

We were considering outdoor carpeting, but would this tend to retain water after heavy rain and be a haven for bugs?

Also, I have seen a rubberized floor coating that is sprayed on and the other thought is to just fill in any cracks or grooves and use a low lustre concrete paint. Or maybe use terra cotta floor tiles?

We won't be ready to do the flooring until we return at the end of this year, so lots of time to decide which way to go.
