And therein my dear lies the basic problem. Not that a lot of people don't have the bucks but they are now on a fixed income and being careful to see that they don't outlive it.

Restaurants just can't have entrees over the twelve dollar range and survive. Maybe for a treat or once in awhile will people spend for a more expensive meal, but not usually.
