I agree.....and new players must be taught that there are others on the course and they need to play ready golf. If a new player finds they just don't have it on one particular hole, pick up, relax and then try again on the next hole. Soon they will be in the groove so to speak.

Better golfers also need to remember that they were new to the game at one time, cut the new player a little slack and chill out. Do remember that I don't advocate new players holding up play for the entire round, but every once in a while, circumstances may cause a delay. Even happens with more seasoned golfers.
