The width of the sidewalk is probably determined by The Americans With Disabilities Act. I would think that it would have to be wide enough to allow a wheelchair or motorized mobility vehicle. For the planners to add a sidewalk as an afterthought, falls under the category of 'what were they thinking'?

Lady Lake has nothing to do with this bridge. It is wholly within the confines of Sumter County.
