After a while I tried it again and the IE error page came up saying it wasn't a valid host name. So I guess I'll try the reset button on the router. It's 3.5 yrs old so I don't have any manual or anything. It's a Linksys Wireless-N Router, model# WRT160N V2.
Can someone try to enter the IP address (192.168.1.1) in your browser window & see if a login page comes up? I can't reset the password if I can't get the router setup login page. Thanks!

Hi, not sure if you have Direct TV, but when I get "no signal" I press the power button on the top of the remote and the TV box comes back on. Sometimes mine gets turned off by accident. Hope you figure all of this out I know how frustrating it can be. When it happened to me I bought a new router and started from scratch. Good luck!
