Make sure you enter the "192.168.1.1” into the URL box NOT the search box.

The URL box is the main box at the top of the browser that normally shows the address of the web site you are surfing.

This should bring up a screen to get you into the router, then (provided you haven't changed the entry passwords) do not enter anything into the username box and enter "admin" (lower case) into the password box.

Then you should be into the router firmware/setup screens.

Here you will see your home network name - you'll need this for your TV setup.

Then go to the "Wireless" tab, and then "Wireless security" and you'll see your network password - my Linksys shows it under a box called "WPA Shared Key."

The password you need (for accessing the home network) should be different from the one you use to get into the router firmware.
