I for one totally agree with your view of gay people; however, without debate on issues as serious as Gay Marriage and so many other serious problems we still have in this country, nothing would get done. I am sure that the status quo would be fine for some, but would not be fair to those that continue to be discriminated against. Since this thread has been overwhelmingly Positive and with more debate than argument, this thread is a testament to the need for intelligent discussion about Gay Marriage as it relates to the Christian scriptures. You say be Respectful because of its tradition, well there is still a tradition of racism in many areas of this country, but be sure you understand I do not respect racism no matter how long it has been in practice.
