Default Works for us

Some of the CYVs have shorter garages than others - ours is a Bonita/Foxglove, pretty deep garage. We keep our Honda Fit and 2 golf carts (parked tandem style, and one is a 4 seater), plus 3 bikes (one behind the car for frequent use, the other 2 in front of the parked car), a small workbench (must back out golf carts to use it), a tool chest (one of the chargers sits on that, the other on the workbench), and various garden tools/sports rackets hanging from hooks. Also have one of those 6 ft by about 2.5 ft storage cabinets near the inside door.

Also have a small reel mower and some other stuff like chairs, hose. Works because the Honda Fit is not very wide. We too usually back it out before the passenger gets in. Usually have about 3 feet behind it and 5-6 feet in front of it. Also, our hobbies are indoor ones (sewing, playing trumpet, reading, cards, etc). If you are a garage putterer, you would probably not be happy with the normal 1-1/2 car garage in a CYV.

We keep a garden deckbox near the gate inside the fence with stuff like potting soil, fertilizers, etc. The laundry room in our model is also larger than some, allowing for an extra wall of storage across from the washer/dryer.
