No one should ever say that they know everything about what a person eats and doesn't eat unless they have actually lived with that person for some legnth of time. Even then you might not know. Mostly, what people do is make assumptions based on appearances. If you see a person who's thin, a vegan or vegitarian and rides a bicycle every day, what you see is the appearance of health. He or she may or may not be practicing a truly healthy lifestyle. They may think they are and you may think they are but are they really????
I have observed what supposedly heathy people do, athletes in particular, and very often it's not healthy. Often, the love of their sport (or sports) comes first and health is an after thought. Many of them have a "sweet tooth" and don't like healthy vegetables very much but they do like potatoes. And, most of all, they love highly processed energy bars.
