Hi RickCarol! Welcome to the neighborhood!
I started this thread over a year ago when my wife and I purchased our lot on Bradshaw Lane. It was started to try and get to know our new neighbors. It's since evolved into a community information site where we initially posted info about home types, design ideas, etc. It's transformed itself into the community forum where you pretty much say what you want and pull any practical jokes that you would like.
You can get a pretty good feel for the neighborhood if you read from page 1 to present (if you have the inclination to do so) just to see what's happened in the years time.
Otherwise, just jump in, introduce yourselves and keep an eye out for posts about GillyBrations, driveway parties, pot luck dinners or anything else that happens around the place. You'll most likely want to meet our "Cast of Characters" some of whom are back north for a few months.
I promise when you meet them, you won't forget them. And may require a few drinks to get over them...
